Examination of the Pretribulation Rapture Doctrine

Summary: The Pre-Tribulational Rapture is a popular teaching held by many Christians. Several passages of Scripture are often presented to confirm this doctrine but I challenge the reader to work through the following study and see for yourself what the Scriptures harmoniously teach. It was several years ago that I started on a study of this topic in an effort to understand the verses better for myself. Although I generally held to the pre-trib position, having been taught it, I wanted to examine the verses that were commonly given as support of it and see the claims made for them verified. It was in doing so that it became apparent that the verses often referenced for a pre-trib rapture, when viewed in their entire context, could not mean what they were being interpreted as saying.

It is common to see Christians disagreeing as to if this teaching is true and in the middle there are many that are uncertain as what to believe but want to know the truth. The following study is not several verses from one book of the Bible, two verses from another book of the Bible, and various conclusions that cannot be proven out in the Word. This study aims to take the reader through the Bible in much more comprehensive way and I believe that in doing so that the truth is not fuzzy but crystal clear.
